Abortion; a cleanly way to resolve unwanted pregnancies or a baby murdering practice!

The women’s rights movement is a trending affair as of late, with heated debates between the left and right commonplace. The most disputed of the topics brought up in said debates is the topic of abortion, with the right generally siding against, and the left with.

Many protests have been held to eradicate anti-abortion laws, further publicising the issue.

“I think that abortion is morally correct in a given time span, if the baby is prior to being 24 weeks developed, because after that it can cause harm to the woman receiving the abortion and the baby. In terms of morality, if something bad happened to a woman, (such as rape), why must she carry that burden?” – Aneka Martin-Cheeseman.

According to an article published by Healthline, “(a) baby will have all of their major organs by the eighth week. Babies start forming external genitalia by week 11.”

This raises the moral question as to when does life begin. Do we have the right to take away the chance at life of a child? On the contrary, do we have the right to potentially ruin a woman’s life for a foetus?
